South Bohemian Region

The South Bohemian Region is a land of mirrors – thousands of ponds reflect the beauty of its landscape, deep forests, and historical towns. Located in the southern part of Bohemia bordering Austria and Germany, it is dominated by the Vltava River and the Šumava Mountains.

The region offers excellent conditions for cycling, water sports, and winter recreation. Its jewels include the historical center of Český Krumlov (UNESCO), the romantic Hluboká Chateau, and the spa town of Třeboň, famous for its tradition of fish-pond farming.
