The Hradec Králové Region in northeastern Bohemia is a land of high mountains and sandstone rock cities. It is home to the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) National Park, featuring the highest Czech peak, Sněžka.

The region is incredibly rich in natural wonders, from the unique rock formations in Adršpach to the Safari Park in Dvůr Králové. A historical masterpiece not to be missed is the Baroque complex at Kuks with its famous statues by M. B. Braun.
