Liberec Region
The Liberec Region is situated in the northernmost part of Bohemia. It is the smallest region in terms of area, but it offers a huge variety of natural wonders. Its landmark is the unique transmitter and hotel on the top of Mount Ještěd.
The region covers parts of the Jizera Mountains, the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše), and the romantic surroundings of Máchovo Lake. It is also world-famous for its traditional glass and jewelry production.
